My first one came by mail quite unexpectedly, crossing the Atlantic in one of those foam envelopes. There was no special occasion to warrant it. Rather it was one of those “I was just thinking of you” gifts that was absolutely perfect for me.
It has been seven years since my first gorilla pod. The original “perfect gift” one did not survive the constant use (but lasted longer than the relationship). I’m on my fourth gorilla pod now and it is still as necessary an accessory as my camera’s battery. For my final project, I want to storify the many uses of a gorilla pod.

I really enjoyed seeing how hard you’re going at all those fun initial digital storytelling assignments. You are a woman after my own heart–just can’t stop playing and creating. You go, girl!

Curious, and of course, anything can work if you figure out the angle. What is the story? Is it from the gorilliapod itself? It’s an interesting hybrid creature (I’m a fan, I have one for DSLR, one for compact camera, and a variant for iPhone).
Who is the story for? Will it help people understand the love you have for this device?
That is my chorus- what is the story?
